- Mutually exclusive with 99484, 99492, 99493, and 99494 for the same patient in the same month, choose one BHI model per patient per month
- Distinguished from 99484 by who performs the time: G0323 requires the clinical psychologist or clinical social worker personally, 99484 covers clinical staff directed by the billing practitioner

- Time personally furnished by the clinical psychologist or clinical social worker, not delegated clinical staff time

A clinical social worker personally spends 20 minutes updating a patient's behavioral health care plan and monitoring symptoms with a validated rating scale, without delegating the work to other staff.
