  • Mutually exclusive with 99445 for the same 30-day period: use 99445 instead if only 2-15 days of data were collected

Who can bill

  • Physicians and non-physician practitioners
  • Billed under the supervising practitioner

Eligibility & billing requirements

  • Active RPM episode with a qualifying connected device in place
  • At least 16 days of physiologic data automatically collected and transmitted in the 30-day period
  • Device must be FDA-defined as a medical device

When to use it

Consistent daily blood pressure readings

A patient's connected blood pressure cuff transmits readings on 22 of 30 days in the billing period.
